Some of my information is already filled in on my Profile, must I add anything else?
Yes. You must add your phone numbers and also attach your resume.
I am having trouble applying online. How can I get help?
We welcome you to come by Human Resources. If you need assistance working through the application process or operating a computer, we will be happy to assist you.
Who should I contact regarding the status of my transfer request?
Once you apply for a job, you will receive an automatic e-mail response to confirm that we have been notified of your interest. If it is determined that you are a candidate, Human Resources or the department manager will contact you by phone or e-mail to discuss your skills in detail.
You can check the status of each job application by logging in under “Existing Member”, and looking on the “Application Status” tab.
What happens if a job comes available for which I am qualified but haven't applied for yet?
We encourage you to check the website frequently, as new jobs are posted daily. Additionally, you can use the job agent function to be notified by e-mail when job titles are posted containing key words and other search criteria you select.
Also, as new positions become available, you may be included in searches conducted by Human Resources as they search for candidates who meet the skills, competencies and qualifications for new open positions.
What is a "Job Agent"?
A job agent will let you set up key-word and other search criteria for newly posted jobs. If you would like, the job agent will notify you by e-mail when jobs are posted.
What if no jobs match my Job Search or the search set up in my "Job Agent"?
All criteria in your search must be met in order for a match to appear. Try making the search broader by selecting “Any” in some of the categories, if they are truly optional to you. For example, if you’d prefer “Day” positions, but would like to be notified of all positions in the job category you choose regardless of shift, select “Any” in the shift search fields.
What is a "Job Cart"?
If you see a job you are interested in, you are able to save that job by clicking on “Add to Job Cart.” Then, you may click on Job Cart to display all the jobs you’ve selected. You will have the option to remove any jobs from the cart by clicking the delete button. You can apply for all the jobs in your cart by selecting the box to the left of the job title and then clicking the “apply” button.
What is Application Status?
The Application Status tab displays all the jobs you have applied for, tasks you may need to complete such as filling out an application and/or interviews that are scheduled or need to be confirmed.
